Your business works.
Scale it through software.
Your business is growing. Your tools aren’t keeping up. Cloudburst is built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs, so you get working software in weeks, not months.
There’s never been a better time to build.
If your Tuesday nights belong to a spreadsheet, keep scrolling for relief.
You’ve built before. Which of these is in your way?
You’ve built a business, and you know what it cost: the hours nobody saw, the months you paid yourself last, if at all, the customers won one at a time. You also know nobody does it alone. Growth has always been about the right people at the right moment. Technology is no different. You don’t need to become technical, you just need to know who to build with.
The growing business
Every new customer adds another row, another tab, another workaround. The spreadsheet that got you here is now the thing slowing you down.
The stalled build
You started a build. It got three-quarters done. Your software person took it as far as they could, and it’s been “almost there” for months.
If it’s built but nobody’s running it, start with the Owner’s Manual →
The idea you can’t let go
There’s an idea you keep coming back to: the product, the customers it serves, the business it becomes. But you’ve never asked what it would take. Custom software felt like it was for other people: too expensive, too much preparation. It isn’t. Bring the vision. We’ll tell you if technology can help, and if it can’t, we’ll tell you that too.
The same phases every good build needs. Less spent in translation.
Discovery, design, development, delivery: the stages of every successful build. What’s different is how we move through them: quickly, together, and in working software instead of documents.
Start where you are:
Discover
We start inside the mess: the spreadsheets, the five systems, the workarounds your team invented. You walk us through how a customer actually moves through the business and where the hours go. The mess isn’t embarrassing; it’s the map.
Design
Within days you’re clicking through a prototype built from your workflow. Your words, your steps, your exceptions. This is where your expertise does its best work: you correct us early, while corrections are cheap.
Develop
Real data moves in: years of client history, out of the tabs and into one system. You review working software every week, and what your team learns using it shapes what we build next.
Deliver
It goes live alongside the spreadsheet until your team trusts it. Then the spreadsheet retires on its own. You own everything: the code, the data, the accounts.
Real software takes real time. But you’ll see it taking shape from the first week. You’ll decide what’s next based on what you can click, not what we promise.
A real read on your business, not a pitch.

It’s also the fastest way to see how we think, before you ever pick up the phone. No call, no email required to see your results.
Start with a Strategic Build Sprint.
Not a menu of services. One clear first step, sized so the decision is easy and the proof is fast.
Strategic Build Sprint
A fixed investment, a real problem, and working software in weeks, not months. That speed comes from working smart, not cutting corners. Building is a craft, and you’ll watch yours take shape from the first week.
Most Sprints run one to four weeks. Fixed before we start, scoped to the build; the number comes from a conversation, not a rate card. Bigger visions add up one sprint at a time, so you’re never signing up for more than the next step.
No prep required. Just bring what you’re working on.
Then, run and grow:
Operate — from $1,500/month
One flat monthly number, two-week cadence. Three tiers: at Run you bring ticket-sized changes, at Grow you bring us tickets, at Scale you bring us priorities and we handle the rest. No hourly rates, no overages, no surprises. Compare the tiers →
Every partnership includes a live workspace with access to your database and code: track activity, get answers, brainstorm what to build next.
About the Shared Success Agreement
Once we’ve built something together and know we work well as partners, there’s another way to keep going. A Shared Success Agreement is always some cash and some shared upside. Never us working for free, never you carrying the whole cost alone. Something to grow into, not a pitch.
We build for you the way we build for ourselves.
A selection: a few of the clients we’ve built for, and the ventures we’ve built ourselves.
Yours next?
Same team. Same process. Same stakes.
Zack StevenFounder & CEO, Cloudburst StudioI started my first software company the way most entrepreneurs do: with an idea I couldn’t let go of and no way to build it myself.
I’m not a developer. I hired people to build my vision, spent my own money, and learned the expensive lessons: builds that took twice as long as promised, quotes I couldn’t make sense of, momentum stalling while I waited on someone else. What I wanted, and couldn’t find, was someone who understood the business first and could tell me, plainly, what was worth building and what wasn’t.
Some of what I built failed. Some of it worked. All of it taught me the same thing: the right technology partner at the right moment changes what a business can become. Most entrepreneurs never get a fair shot at finding out.
Cloudburst is the partner I needed back then and couldn’t find.
I run it with friends I’ve known since second grade. We’ve started companies together, taken the risks with our own money, and we build for you the way we build for ourselves.
And if we don’t think a build will move your needle, we’ll tell you — before you spend a dollar, not after.
A cloudburst is what happens when a cloud can’t hold any more. Everything it’s been carrying comes down at once. That’s the moment we built this studio for: when the expertise, the customers, and the idea you’ve been carrying are ready to become something real.
